Koragath looked at the closed doors of the restaurant longing. Despite it being night the lights were still on. She was quite hungry, yet had no money to buy any food. Nor could she get a job for the money, seeing as that she was but a child. Perhaps she could pick pocket one of the customers as they left the store. Koragath had resorted to that plenty of times as a loner, but this place smelled weird to her. She took off her pink hat from her head, letting lose a short cascade a straight black hair.
She flipped the hat upside down like she and seen some other beggars do. She had always had quite the talent for being sneaky, now she knew why. Koragath was afraid to use it now. What she had learned about herself was terrifying and impossible. Was this why her parents had abandoned her? Or had they been the same as her? The thought terrified her to extremes. she couldn't afford to even dream about it. Who knew if she'd turn into it unconsciously, like she did the first time?

Neruka had walked in to the restaurant. She looked around and found a seat, she needed to get out of the house. She couldn't take the pressure, or all of this. The lycans, the therians. What had happen from witch when she was a child? The elders do not speak of it, not even to the Pirus. This angered her, She was supposed to help the house? Right? How was she going to do so with the elders no speaking?

Koragath frowned as someone walked right past her without even a glance. Perhaps she should've stood directly in the door, perhaps that would've worked better. Or that person might've just pushed right past her without even feeling. Koragath stepped into the restaurant hesitantly, spotting the person that had passed quickly. Koragath paced briskly towards Neruka, a small smile on her face. "May I take your order?" Koragath asked as she stopped in front of the table. She might be a bit on the hungry side, but her sprit wasn't damped by it in the least.
Korgath had to look up to see Neruka's face, but she wasn't perturbed by this. She had to look up to everyone, especially considering her small age. This person seemed a bit on the tense side. She wasn't sure of why she looked this way, and whatever it was she probably wouldn'/t tell what was going on to a nosy girl like her. She didn't mind that in the least, she wasn't after information after all.

"Umm, just a sweet tea." She said smiling, then she looked up, this one looked this kid looks familiarity, but were?

Koragath nodded, skipping off towards the kitchen cheerfully. She slipped past any humans in the kitchen relatively easy. All of them were looking up to see. They weren't expecting a little infiltrator. Koragath sniffed the air for the vaguely familiar scent to her. The white block of a refrigerator made it rather easy to spot. She grabbed a nearby cup and poured the liquid into it, slipping out quickly as the idiot humans continued on their tasks. As she placed the cup in front of Neruka she felt the impulse to stick her tongue out at the person. Koragath denied herself this pleasure, knowing that the humans in the kitchen deserved it more.

"Hmm Thank you, umm what is your name?" She asked she was leader of the vampires, and this town and was woundering who this child is.

Koragath could easily tell him her true name to this person. No, that wouldn't be the best thing in the world to do. Everyone watched T.V these days, and the orange owner she had spent years with especially did. Her name would've been told the moment the owner saw her image on the TV. Why hadn't she thrown the video camera off the helicopter? She hadn't been near any TVs recently. "I'm Yew, named after that little poison plant thing." Korgath said in the same cheery, tone, looking for any nearby TVs. She had seen some of the plant as she fled here. The name would do for now.

"Interesting name." Neruka said, looking up at Yew. "How'd you come upon our city." She said. If they lycans were attacking would they send a spy? No there to stupid to send a spy. She kept wondering, and looked down at her necklace, it proved that she was leader of the vampires.

"I kind of stumbled on it while wandering." Koragath answered Neruka, this at least having partial truth within it. The child followed Neruka's gaze to the necklace. She was wondering what its significance might be. Yet she wouldn't be asking the question yet. She'd only start asking questions if this Neruka's became a bit awkward for her.

Neruka nodded, this one didn't seem to be a Lycan, well then again she wasn't sure. She looked up. If this Yew was lycan, she would have known who I was, and shown signs of it, but this one didn't have the signs; that or she was a excellent spy.

Koragath felt a bit awkward under Neruka's judging gaze. She looked down at her clothes to see is her clothes were wrinkled. She didn't want to present herself as too messy. She wanted to ask this person her name, but that wasn't a thing that a serving girl would ask, she was sure. Yet, then again, if this person thought her a servant girl then something was wrong. No one hired eight year old girls these days.

Neruka looked around, it was very quite, all but the restaurant noises. Neruka had nothing to talk about, "umm...soo..." Neruka said, trying to start a conversation must failing.

Koragath started to listen to the background noises, flitting from conversation to conversation with disinterest. She pulled out a chair and sat at Neruka's table. "So, you gotta job or something?" She asked casually, clasping her hands together.

"Um, No. I don't, but you could say I do.." Neruka said, this one must be new to this town, she thought. "Do you come far from here?" She asked wondering were this stranger had came from.

"I don't know how far away I came from." Koragath answered truthfully. She wasn't sure how Neruka would take this answer. After the little incident the world had gone dark. She had woken up on a helicopter, so there was no way for her to know how far she had traveled.
